Each county has a scenic route which is clearly mapped out by the Tourist Bureau. There are other tourist routes, but the better known attractions will be found on the scenic routes, which are Blue Heron in the Center, Lady slipper to the West - see the image of the National Flower - and Kings Byway to the East One of Canada's smallest National Parks lies 24km north of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island National Park has 40 km of coastline with many of PEI's best beaches.
