| MacKenzie Mountains Lie along the boundary of the Territories and the Yukon, their peaks rise to 2700 m. and the Mackenzie River which is the longest river in Canada runs northwards along the valley to the Arctic Ocean. There are two National Parks in the Mackenzie district, which are Nahanni in the South west and Wood Buffalo which lies along the Alberta Border.
