One of Manitoba's more better known towns is that of Churchill, this historic port sits on the shores of Hudson bay, and here in summer Beluga whales can be seen whilst winter attracts the annual invasion of Polar Bears. There are no drivable roads to Churchill, you must fly in or catch a train. Even in the middles of summer, take something warm to ward of the chill evening air, July and August are normally the only months without a snowfall
